PCS Strategic Goals

  1. Improve the efficiency of the society to become a sophisticated institution capable of meeting the needs of its target groups.
  • Development of administrative and financial regulations governing the affairs of the Society.
  • Development of membership system and regulations to cover all target groups.
  • Developing the system of candidature and elections in the society and all its branches.
  • Development of the interior system to reflect the requirements of the strategic work of the Assembly in accordance with the laws and regulations in Palestine.
  • Develop an organizational structure for the society to ensure the activation of channels of communication within the society and enhance the participation of employees in decision-making.
  •  Establishment of  headquarters of the society to ensure communication with the members of the society.
  • Appoint an executive staff to achieve the approved strategic objectives of its (constituent) governing body, including legal and financial auditors.
  •  Activating the role of various committees and ensuring the participation of experts in the formed committees.
  •  Activating the role of female employees and members of the society in all activities implemented through forming the Women's Committee.
  • Adoption of monitoring and evaluating policies for the Society's performance.
  • Obtaining international credibility to implement international standards in Palestine.
  1. Enhancing the society’s positive reputation in the local community and expanding its relations with local and international institutions:
  • Conducting visits and meetings to introduce the society and its activities and establish its importance in the local and international community.
  • Develop successful communication plans and policies with the local and international community to disseminate the mission and objectives of the society.
  • Participation of the society in public events.
  • Participation in meetings of governmental and non-governmental institutions.
  • Implementing joint activities with other charities.
  • Formal representation of the society locally and internationally in various forums and events.
  • Developing the social networking sites of the society and working groups of discussion and communication.
  • Develop the website of the society to include all services and mechanisms to serve members using the latest technology available.
  • Create a complete and constantly updated database of the latest technology invented.
  1. Strengthening the continuity of the Society's services to its members and target groups:
  • Work on using and recruiting the society’s funds to ensure the provision of financial needs and attract sponsors for the activities of the society.
  • Inviting as many Information Technology professionals as possible to enroll and register and making sure of the contribution to the payment for the effective membership of the society.
  • Developing the capacity of the society in the field of project writing and fundraising.
  • Adopting charitable investment projects that constitute a self-financing resource.
  • Providing courses and workshops paid to non-specialists and specialists and attracting courses from home and abroad.
  • The establishment of exhibitions and activities supported and income-generating.
  • The establishment of a paid consulting center.


  1. Contributing in the improving of  living conditions and standards of living of members and preserving their rights.
  • Provide training and capacity-building programs in specialized areas of information technology.
  • Adopting income-generating projects for target groups such as business incubators and telecommuting platforms.
  • Highlighting the issues of the active members in order to assert their rights.
  • Seeking social programs and services such as health insurance, retirement, housing and other activities and projects.
  • Work on enacting legislation and laws in cooperation with the competent and relevant authorities to ensure the rights of employees in the information technology sector within the formal and legal frameworks.
  1. Contribute to the creation of local and international job opportunities for members of the society and graduates in the field of information technology.
  • Holding local and international courses, seminars, exhibitions and programs to provide job opportunities.
  • Providing Information Technology consulting services to other sectors such as education, health and banking in various fields.
  • Develop the capacities of young people to know, learn and develop life skills, and develop their economic, social and human rights skills and integrate them into the local and international community.
  • Find funders for emerging projects.
  • Develop a database of graduates, operators and scholarships in the Information Technology sector.
  • A website that provides certified certificates.
  • Making an annual award for the best technology project.
  • Providing scholarships to students and members.
  • Contribution in bridging the gap between the private professional sector and the academic sector.
  1. Enhancing the technical capabilities of the employees in the different institutions, enhancing the concept of scientific and applied research, and developing the relationship of the researcher members with the different sectors of society:
  • Work on establishing a national scientific research center in partnership with universities, institutions and companies.
  • Creating a national scientific specialized journal.
  • Partnership with universities and ministries with specialized training centers and centers of excellence for the rehabilitation of members and employees and target groups of the society.
  • Enhancing scientific research with the private sector such as industry, trade and agriculture.
  • Enhancing scientific research (procedural and applied) with the public sector such as ministries, security institutions, education and health.
  • Enhancement of Information Technology sector services to other sectors.
  • Holding conferences, seminars, workshops, lectures and developing scientific and professional publications.
  • Creating a monthly electronic journal to publish articles in the field of information technology.
